A young man named Nathan Martin got the chance to ask our Liar in Chief Obama why his administration has pursued Arizona over it’s immigration law, yet refuses to do anything about California ignoring the federal drug laws with it’s legalization of pot. Common sense would tell you it’s because liberals love pot and Obama doesn’t want to anger his welfare-dependent pot smoking constituents. Elections are coming up in November, you know.
So Nathan, there’s your answer. It’s likely the only one you’re going to get, based on the tap dancing I see Obama doing in this video.
That answer looked surprising similar to this one:
If you have been in this country illegally for more than 5 years, and you came here illegally under the age of 16, Uncle Sam wants you to have free stuff! Yes, it’s a dream come true. You can go to college here on the taxpayers tab, you can stay here even though you entered illegally, and hopefully, you’ll register to vote for the very socialist scumbags who dreamed all of this up. The leader of those socialists? None other than our worthless Senator from Nevada, Harry “I’m for amnesty” Reid.
How do you get all of this given to you, your criminal mind asks? Well, call your Congressman who represents your illegal interests (The one with the “D” after his/her name) and tell them to vote for your dream. Tell them to vote for the Dream Act, so we can create another nightmare for the rest of us. After all Pedro, what do you care? You’ll be the one benefitting.
I never thought I’d see the day when I would be singing the praises of a cartoonist that works for a liberal pack of idiots like the ones at MSNBC. Well, strike me down but today is the day. Political cartoonist Daryl Cagle crafted this fine piece of art that depicts the Mexican flag, specifically the taco chicken in the center, as being shot to pieces. This is, of course, to reflect the fact that the drug lords are shooting up the place down there.
What is truly ironic is that for once it’s not the American flag being desecrated and lampooned by a cartoonist of considerable fame. For once, it’s not an American flag being maliciously targeted while the American people are being expected to stand still and take it. For once, it’s not us.
The part that brings laughter to my belly is the uproar this cartoon is creating in Mexico, in both the editorial pages of the Mexican press, and the Mexican embassy. The letter below, written by Ricardo Alday of the Mexican embassy, takes issue with the cartoon because it has brought a “negative response” from the people of Mexico. Negative response?
Mr. Alday, let me remind you of the negative response the people of the United States are having due to 14 million of your fellow Mexican countrymen flowing over the borders illegally and costing the American taxpayers billion$ every year to support these people. Let me remind you of the negative response from us because, unlike this cartoon, these 14 million people are breaking our laws by coming here. Let me remind you, Mr. Alday, of your country’s refusal to do anything about it.
People all across the world routinely make a mockery of the American flag by burning it in the streets of whatever third-world plot of sand they reside on. Maybe it’s time the people of our country start burning some of theirs.

Oh! There’s that awful smell again! I believe it’s coming from the judiciary! For decades, leftists have been worming their way into the legal system and slithering onto court benches. And now they have infested the system to the point where we are now seeing an almost daily assault on our liberties, traditions, borders—pretty much our entire American way of life—coming from outrageous court rulings, and it stinks to high heaven!
I had planned to write a short piece on the activist Colorado judge’s ruling from a couple of weeks ago which declared the Stolen Valor Act unconstitutional. But before I could write my column, the activist judge in Phoenix gutted Arizona’s anti-illegal alien legislation, until it can work its way through the other courts. That’s just great! I feel like we’re living in a virtual dictatorship where judges are now regularly and single-handedly issuing the most egregious rulings, whether the rulings respect reality, the Constitution and we the people, or not.
By now, you’ve heard plenty about U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton’s ruling which flies in the face of, not just common sense in our country, but the will of the people and government of Arizona.
In her 36-page decision, she claims that,
“Requiring Arizona law enforcement officials and agencies to determine the immigration status of every person who is arrested burdens lawfully-present aliens because their liberty will be restricted while their status is checked.”
What? “Lawfully-present aliens” will have their liberty restricted while their status is checked? You mean, in the same way that each of us has our liberty restricted when our “status” is being checked at a road block or when we’re pulled over for a traffic violation? You know, it takes a little while to run our driver’s license and car tag, too. That “loss of liberty” is the same inconvenience we all face at one time or another.
Okay. So this tyrannical Obama administration gets its way for now on this one. Illegal aliens are not really illegal in Arizona by activist judicial fiat. Oh, you and I still have to produce our papers when asked, but not the hordes of foreign invaders! Can you say, “November?!” Please!
The other ruling I’m writing about is the decision by U.S. District Judge Robert Blackburn in Denver who ruled that the Stolen Valor Act is “facially unconstitutional,” because he sees it as a violation of free speech. In case you don’t know, the Stolen Valor Act makes it a crime to lie about receiving military medals and decorations. It carries a punishment from a fine to 6 months in prison.
The case before the judge was that of Rick Strandlof, who falsely claimed he was an Iraq war veteran. Felica Cardona, writing for the Denver Post reported,
“Strandlof, 32, was charged with five misdemeanors related to violating the Stolen Valor Act — specifically, making false claims about receiving military decorations.
He posed as Rick Duncan, a wounded Marine captain who received a Purple Heart and a Silver Star. Strandlof used that persona to found the Colorado Veterans Alliance and solicit funds for the organization.
Actual veterans who served on the board were suspicious of his claims and reported him to the FBI.”
So, this judge sides with the ACLU and other civil liberties groups in basically claiming that it’s not a crime to lie. And get this. One of the Colorado ACLU lawyers, Chris Beall, wrote a friend-of-the-court brief, in which he said,
“The First Amendment protects speech we don’t like. We don’t need the First Amendment for speech people like. The government cannot criminalize a statement simply because it is false, no matter how important the statement is.”
What? Is this guy for real?
Beall then goes on to point out that Strandlof was not charged with theft of any money from the veterans group. He said,
“That’s plain-old, regular-vanilla everyday fraud, and we do prosecute that every day. Congress does not need a special statute to prevent people from using false claims of valor in order to prevent fraud.”
Well, what do you know! Not to change the subject here, but as a side note, that is quite similar to our arguments against so-called “hate crimes” legislation. We already have laws on the books for violence against people, why add a special class of protected citizens based on real or perceived motivation?
So, the bottom line here is that this nutty judge has declared lying to be protected speech. In what world does this man live? There most certainly are laws against lying. When you go up on the witness stand in court to testify, if you lie, buddy, I guarantee that’s not you practicing your freedom of speech! You can go to jail for lying on the witness stand. Or, try lying to a cop who pulls you over, and see how that works for you. It’ll be fine! Just tell him you’re practicing your freedom of speech!
So these slimy ACLU guys want to nitpick the Stolen Valor Act to say that since this guy did not lie about receiving medals in order to cheat others out of money—that’s okay. His despicable lying is just his 1st Amendment right. Maybe what they’re really doing is trying to get cover for all the rat politicians who keep getting caught lying about their fake military service.
The out-of-control, leftist judges may be the end of our country yet. I hope it’s not too late to stop them.

April 27, 2010 – Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, while testifying before a Senate panel, says, “I say this again as someone who has walked that border. I’ve ridden that border. I’ve flown it. I’ve driven it. I know that border I think as well as anyone, and I will tell you it is as secure now as it has ever been.”
June 22, 2010 – Rep. Pete Stark, D-Calif., told people in a town hall meeting, “”If you knew anything about our borders…(you’d know) Our borders are quite secure, thank you.”
July 1, 2010 – During an immigration speech at American University School of International Service, Washington, D.C., President Obama said, “The southern border is more secure today than at any time in the past 20 years.”
July 08, 2010 – During an interview with Jim Lehrer of PBS, Rahm Emanuel was asked if the border had been secured. He apparently disagrees with his boss, because he said, “No, we haven’t — it hasn’t been secured. And there have been more boots on the ground, more resources put at it….You know there’s over 25,000 National Guard on the border.”
Maybe Rahm Emanuel is the only one in the administration that knows what’s going on along our borders. It’s apparent from watching the video below, the second video of a series, that the borders are penetrated everyday like a bag of balloons at a carnival shooting gallery. This video goes so far as to catch drug smugglers on camera, using the same trails as human smugglers.
I have a plan. Declare a threat to national security. Take the troops that are being withdrawn from Iraq and deploy them along these trails with orders to apprehend, unless fired upon. Those apprehended should be placed into a concentration-like encampment until deportation can be arranged. This will create a wave of fear that will ripple though Mexico, vastly slowing the tide of illegals. I have no doubt that our soldiers, battle hardened and tough, will do a fine job of protecting American soil. I, for one, would sleep better at night knowing they were there.

The Obama administration continues its endless barrage of outrages against our country and Constitution, and now they’re suing Arizona. The illegal alien problem with all its attendant crime and leeching of public money is horrendous in the United States, and Arizona is part of ground zero with Mexican drug wars raging at Arizona’s border and even spilling over into the state.
This administration, which has nothing but contempt for our Constitution, suddenly wants to use it to attack Arizona by claiming that immigration law enforcement is the exclusive domain of the federal government. Alright. But, what is the remedy when the federal government refuses, in dereliction of duty, to enforce America’s immigration laws? I’m not aware of any real precedent for this particular situation. I know that former courts have upheld the Supremacy Clause wherein the Constitution states that federal law is the supreme law of the land.
So, the government is suing Arizona for attempting to do what the government, by law, is supposed to do but won’t do. This is like a bad joke, but it’s deadly serious. This administration is hell-bent on eradicating our southern border. They are desperate to dilute our population with uneducated, third-world aliens. They want to make them “legal” so they can create a permanent underclass of Democrat voters.
These dictators in Washington—and that is exactly what they are—will stop at nothing to shoot down Arizona’s immigration law, which mirrors federal law. The dictators know that if this law stands, there are other states lined up to pass similar legislation. I hope many states stand up and do it, too. We can’t let the Obama administration destroy our country like this. We have to find a way to stop them. Hopefully, November will usher in some relief.
The government is going to argue in their lawsuit that only at the federal level can immigration policies be set and enforced. As I said, that would be just fine if the feds would actually enforce our borders and keep the illegal aliens out of our country! A portion of the lawsuit says that a,
“state may not establish its own immigration policy or enforce state laws in a manner that interferes with the federal immigration laws. The Constitution and the federal immigration laws do not permit the development of a patchwork of state and local immigration policies throughout the country.”
What patchwork?! The Arizona law is the same as the federal law! The difference is in who is enforcing it. What is the answer here? This case will no doubt end up before the Supreme Court. Some constitutional experts will say that Washington has a good case, but I keep going back to the same question. If the federal government is in dereliction of duty regarding keeping our borders secure and illegal aliens out, then what can we do? Do we just lie down and let ourselves be overrun by hordes of criminal aliens at the whim of the evil rats in Washington? I don’t think so.
Arizona must convince the courts that the U.S. government has shunned its responsibility for protecting our country from foreign invasion. Not only has it shunned its duties, but it has encouraged the influx of illegal aliens by pandering to racist pro-illegal immigration groups like La Raza and LULAC. Arizona must win this case, or we’re in worse trouble than we know.
If Arizona loses this case at the highest level, I will know that we’re very, very close to completely losing our country. We’re on the brink as it is with this gang of hoods in Washington taking their hatchets to our Constitution and our freedoms. Oh, but here’s one time they want to stand by the Constitution! What hypocrites they are!
Let’s pray hard for Arizona’s victory when this case finally reaches the Supreme Court.

Train loads of illegals…TRAIN LOADS! And Our President does NOTHING!
The following was written by Gina Miller. Her opinions don’t necessarily reflect those of ScottFactor.com, but because they’re here, they probably do.
We are so distracted by the many battle fronts we face with just the Obama administration alone, that it’s hard to keep up with all that’s coming against us besides the enemies of America within our own government, for instance, the Mexican border violence and stealth invasion of our country by millions of people from south of the border.
The enemy without has been creeping into our country through the southern border for years now, enabled by the politicians that swore to protect our country from enemies foreign and domestic. Like most of our politicians, Mexico is not truly our friend, regardless of what pap the Washington elite wishes to feed us. If Mexico were our friend, why would they be flooding our country with illegal invaders that include, not just Mexicans and Central and South Americans, but also Muslim terrorists? Why would the Mexican government and military basically look the other way while drug cartels wage war at our border? Why would the Mexican government go after Arizona’s anti-illegal alien legislation, as if it’s any of their business?
Democrats, and even some Republicans, are actively enabling the illegal alien invasion of our country from the south. They refuse to enforce our border. The Democrats are desperate to make illegal aliens “legal” in order to ensure a huge additional Democrat voting bloc. Now, we hear that the Obama administration may be considering using presidential executive authority to bypass Congress and basically grant amnesty to the illegal aliens in our midst.
This comes on the heels of a story that was reported at the beginning of June in the Houston Chronicle. According to the Chronicle:
“An alleged plot by a Mexican drug cartel to blow up a dam along the Texas border — and unleash billions of gallons of water into a region with millions of civilians — sent American police, federal agents and disaster officials secretly scrambling last month to thwart such an attack, authorities confirmed…
Whether or not the cartel, which is known to have stolen bulk quantities of gunpowder and dynamite, could have taken down the 5-mile-long Falcon Dam may never be known since the attack never came to pass. It may have been derailed by a stepped-up presence by the Mexican military, which was acting in part on intelligence from the U.S. government, sources said.”
The story says that the Zeta drug cartel wanted to blow up the Falcon dam, not to terrorize civilians, but to get back at a rival cartel. I’m sitting here wondering how blowing up an important dam along the Texas-Mexico border would “get back” at a rival cartel. But, it seems to me a perfectly logical thing that a terrorist enemy of America would do. Messing with our water supply–now there’s a subject close to the heart of terrorists.
According to the International Boundary and Water Commission, the Falcon dam is the “lowermost major multipurpose international dam and reservoir on the Rio Grande.” The dam, which serves a nearby community, is also used to run a hydroelectric plant, control floodwaters, and provide agricultural and drinking water.
The story only focuses on the Zeta drug cartel being responsible for the bomb plot, and reports that the cartel apparently warned residents on the Mexican side of the border to evacuate the area near the dam prior to the planned bombing.
Do you suppose the Zeta cartel could be working with Muslim terrorists here? The story makes absolutely no mention of Muslim involvement, but I have read reports of Mexican drug cartels working with Muslim terrorists who are attempting to gain illegal entry into the United States. It’s not out of the realm of possibility that this bomb plot may have been conceived by Muslim terrorists, and is being blamed solely on the Zeta cartel by Homeland Security.
I see this story has been pretty much buried by the media. This administration certainly does not want this bomb plot on an American-Mexican dam to be all over the news shows, because it would be bad for their illegal alien amnesty business. Coming at a time when Obama appears to be poised to make yet another unconstitutional power grab in declaring by fiat that illegal aliens are suddenly “legal,” this border dam bomb plot is very bad for business, indeed!
Whether the Zeta cartel acted alone in hatching the bomb plot or with a little help from some Muslim terrorist friends, the point remains that we need American troops on our border with Mexico, and they need to secure it and treat it as what it actually is—a border between two nations! Stop this wicked invasion of our country!
