Tea Party Patriots March On Washington

Tea Party Patriots celebrated a milestone Saturday for their group.  They have been active for one year.

“On February 27, 2009 a national movement for limited government was born. What started as a few thousand people taking to the streets to protest bailouts and wasteful spending grew to become a massive social movement,” says Brendan Steinhauser, director of federal and state campaigns for FreedomWorks.

For the record, I am not a Tea Party Activist.  I try to stay group neutral and promote the conservative ideals I have. However, I have always admired the strength and drive of the people who choose to get involved with trying to change government instead of accepting the status quo.

The liberal media has chosen to paint a picture of the Tea Party Patriots, and that picture is not good. The liberal lefties focus on some of the fringe elements of the group, which comprise a very small percentage of their members. We’re talking about the Nazi and racist wackos that seem to be everywhere nowadays.  It’s America, freedom of speech is law, and these wackos are allowed to be out there….that doesn’t mean anyody is paying attention to them.

The liberal lefties seem to forget they have their own version of wackos….it’s called ACORN.  But, that’s a whole other story.

So to the people that have energized themselves to fight the tyranny that has been delt out by our President’s policies, I salute you.

For all you Tea Party Patriots, I leave you with this quote from the great Benjamin Franklin: “All who think cannot but see there is a sanction like that of religion which binds us in partnership in the serious work of the world.”

Joe Stack - Tea Partier?

Isn’t it funny how the liberal media tries to twist things to benefit their own outcome?  The recent act of murder committed upon an IRS employee by a guy named Joe Stack, who flew his airplane into an IRS building, is being tied to the Tea Party movement by the liberal media.

February 18th Washington Post article states, in part, “..after reading his 34-paragraph screed, I am struck by how his alienation is similar to that we’re hearing from the extreme elements of the Tea Party movement…”

Same day article in New York Magazine says, “…a lot of his rhetoric could have been taken directly from a handwritten sign at a tea party rally…”

Now, everyone reading this knew it was only a matter of time before the liberals tied this nut job to conservatives.  For the record, he wasn’t a Tea Party member and in fact, many of the things in his writing indicate him to be a liberal. What fascinates me is that only days ago I wrote a piece on the campus killer/professor Amy Bishop, a known liberal and staunch supporter of President Obama and his socialist policies, but in researching this piece, I found not one reference or claim of ownership of this liberal killer and her views.

In my opinion, Joe Stack is a murderer. But, he represents a growing anger of America against it’s government and the tax laws that are so unfair and so hard to follow. While I don’t condone his actions, we should be prepared to see more of this type of crime in the future as people go insanely mad at our government. There is not a lot we can do to prevent this type of rage.

However, we can prevent campus killers by allowing our students to arm themselves against more murderous liberals who rage against….against….against not enough government handouts??
