Those of us who pay attention, who are not doing the zombie shuffle through life, take polling results with more than a grain of salt. But, I found the results of a couple of post-Boston bombing, small-sample polls conducted by Fox News and the Washington Post to be interesting for what they say about our perception of the federal government.
On Sunday, WorldNetDaily’s Drew Zahn wrote a report in which he stated:
According to a pair of recent polls, for the first time since the 9/11 terrorist hijackings, Americans are more fearful their government will abuse constitutional liberties than fail to keep its citizens safe.
Even in the wake of the April 15 Boston Marathon bombing – in which a pair of Islamic radicals are accused of planting explosives that took the lives of 3 and wounded over 280 – the polls suggest Americans are hesitant to give up any further freedoms in exchange for increased “security.”
A Fox News survey polling a random national sample of 619 registered voters the day after the bombing found despite the tragic event, those interviewed responded very differently than following 9/11.
For the first time since a similar question was asked in May 2001, more Americans answered “no” to the question, “Would you be willing to give up some of your personal freedom in order to reduce the threat of terrorism?”
Of those surveyed on April 16, 2013, 45 percent answered no to the question, compared to 43 percent answering yes.
In May 2001, before 9/11, the balance was similar, with 40 percent answering no to 33 percent answering yes.
But following the terrorist attacks of 9/11, the numbers flipped dramatically, to 71 percent agreeing to sacrifice personal freedom to reduce the threat of terrorism.
He goes on to report similar findings in the Washington Post poll.
Even though both polls represent a very small sample of the American people, I am convinced by all I have seen and read that many more Americans today do indeed fear the federal government, and I believe they have very good cause to do so. Despite the despicable “mainstream” media’s desperate attempts to give cover to, and lie for, the most lawless administration in American history, plenty of us, using other information sources, are able to see through the detestable media’s putrid smokescreens.
We can see that Barack Obama (or whatever his name is) and the anti-American radicals in his administration and Congress have boundless contempt for the constitutional limits on their power. It is clear to many of us that we are watching a federal government that is systematically working to tear down this nation, its freedoms and foundations.
So, is the federal government scarier than Muslim terrorism? I say it most certainly is. While Islamic jihad is a danger to our nation, we can still stop it if our authorities are willing, but in the federal government, which is run by power-mad people, we are dealing with a nearly unstoppable entity that has the power to rain destruction on the entire nation, not just spot locations.
Further, Islamists and the communists running the federal government (Senator McCarthy was right, by the way) share the same hatred of America and its freedoms and the same hatred of Jesus Christ and His followers. How can I say that Obama and his fellow-traveling buddies in the administration and Congress hate America and its freedoms? By their actions, their inactions and their words.
In their words, these people routinely lie about their motives, about the evil goals of their legislation, about their political opposition and even the American people who oppose them, who they falsely label as “racists” or “right wing extremists.” In his words, Obama regularly trash-talks America, apologizing for what needs no apologies.
In their actions, we see their ceaseless attempts to impose a socialist form of government on our nation, in contradiction to our Constitution’s design for a representative republic. They are destroying our military in every way, including forcing it to accept open homosexuals and women in front-line combat.
We see their vile attempts to squash our God-given right to self-defense under the guise of “public safety.” We see the war they have waged on our God-given rights to freedom of religion with their hell-born “Obamacare” abortion coverage mandate and their push for sodomy “rights” and fake marriage that would subvert our freedom of religion, association and ultimately, speech.
In their inactions, we see their treasonous refusal to secure our nations borders and deport the criminal aliens among us. We see their stonewalling of investigations into their other criminal actions like the Fast and Furious Mexican gun running scandal and the Muslim murders of our Ambassador and others in Benghazi,Libya—murders aided by this administration.
These are just the tip of an America-hating iceberg of lawlessness perpetrated by these people currently in power, not that other administrations and congresses have not abused their power, but we’ve never seen anything like the current administration. There is no conclusion that I can draw other than the people running our federal government are enemies of America. Our nation has been overthrown by enemies within.
These people are on the side of the Islamists. Again, their actions show this—their support for the Muslim Brotherhood in the Middle East, and the outrageous purging of military and intelligence agencies of proper Muslim training materials at the demand of Islamist groups and Islamist “advisors” within the federal government. That says volumes about where this administration’s loyalties lie. They do everything they can to avoid even saying “Muslim terrorism.”
Since our “mainstream” media will never speak the truth about the Islamist infiltration of our nation and government, it took an Egyptian publication to report that the Obama administration has Muslim Brotherhood operatives at the highest levels.
America is in big trouble. I see the Lord’s judgment falling and the terrible storm gathering. The collective sins of our nation are coming home to roost. No nation can butcher pre-born—and even just-born—babies by the millions and not expect awful consequences. No nation can hope to avoid God’s judgment while it embraces and even “glorifies” homosexuality and its various manifestations, along with its militant assault on the freedoms of those who oppose it.
No, we should not be surprised to see the sorry state of the soul of America when the leaders in our government, schools, entertainment industry, and institutions all across the land have spit on the Lord and have shunned His wisdom, knowledge and commands for living our lives. We now have the federal government we have earned while we slept and allowed God to be outlawed as sin was made mandatory.
We are not surprised to see that the federal government is now a monster that is scarier than the Muslim terrorists among us.

It has been a gut-wrenching week, between the dead and wounded in the Muslim terrorist Boston bombings and the Texas fertilizer plant explosion and the head-spinning misinformation (and reported cover-up of a Saudi connection to Boston) coming out of Washington and the media. I’m reaching the point of overload, and so I want to turn away from the evil news of today and take a brief look into the timeless Word of God and the end times prophecies as they relate to Jesus’ return.
There has been something that has bothered me for quite some time. It is the pre-, or even mid-, tribulation “rapture” doctrine. It is the belief that Jesus is going to “snatch” His church away before the time of terrible tribulation under Antichrist’s global dominion. The enormous popularity of the Jenkins and LaHaye Left Behind novel series testifies to the great number of people who believe in the pre-tribulation rapture of the church, and those books did nothing but reinforce this belief.
What I’m going to say will offend many Christians who firmly believe in the pre-tribulation rapture: it is not supported by scripture. I will explain.
What made me decide to finally address this subject in a column was a radio program I heard while driving home from work last Friday afternoon. It was a sermon by Bob Martin, Senior Pastor of Challenge Ministries International. I was captivated by his message, wherein he addressed the very misgivings I have long had about the pre-tribulation rapture teaching. With Bible passage after Bible passage, Pastor Martin laid out the clear truth that Jesus will come back at the end of the tribulation period to gather his saints, first the dead and then those who remain alive, and then the wrath of God will descend on the heavens and earth. Thus, I was inspired to write a brief column on this heavily-debate subject.
According to the Bible, there are certain events that will happen before the return of Jesus. In 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4, Paul, by the Spirit of the Lord, says:
1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Elsewhere, in Matthew 24:14, we read:
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
In an article on the Challenge Ministries website titled, “The Antichrist, Christ and the Future,” Pastor Martin writes,
So, if words mean anything, and if the Bible is the inspired word of God, and I believe most firmly that it is, then two things must happen before the return of Christ to earth.
1.The Gospel must be preached to all nations. The Church has thus far failed in that regard, for that has not yet been done.
2.There will come an apostasy, a falling away of the church before Christ returns. (II Thess 2:1 – 5) Apostasy is not a catching away as in the rapture, but rather, a falling away as in back-sliding, a loss of first love as with the Church At Ephesus.. It is this luke-warmness of the church that allows the rise of the One World Order with its following cashless society and its One World Church, the end times Whore Church as revealed in Chapter 17 of the Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ.
3.The revelation of the Man of Sin, the Antichrist if you will, precedes the second coming of Christ.
Jesus foretold this falling away of the church.
Matt 24:10-12 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
So, we see from scripture, that, before Christ returns (1) The Gospel will have been preached to all nations, (Matt 24:14), (2) The church will have grown so lukewarm and so backslidden, she will have become apostate to the point that the Antichrist can make his appearance, (II Thess 2:1 – 5) and (3) the Antichrist will have appeared on the stage of the One World Government and will have assumed dictatorial powers over the nations.
… Make no mistake about it, this Satanic agenda of a One World Order with its resulting loss by nations, including America, of their sovereignty is very real, and moving inexorably towards future recognition.
Does the bible speak concerning this end time One World Order of Governance? Indeed it does. Both Daniel Chapter 7 and Revelation Chapter 13 speak very clearly concerning this end times, God opposing, oppressive government of Satan over the lives of men.
Revelation 13 and Daniel 7 are clearly speaking about the very last days of terrible tribulation under the global dominion of Satan’s man, the Antichrist. Both chapters declare that he is given power to make war against the saints and to overcome them. “Saints” are simply members of the body of Christ, those saved by the grace of Jesus through faith in Him alone. So, if the Antichrist, the beast, is given power to make war against the saints, that means that the saints are indeed present during his last days reign.
In Revelation 15:2-3, we read:
2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. 3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.
These are clearly Christians who “stood firm till the end” and resisted the power of Antichrist during the great tribulation. They did not bow to his image nor take his mark upon themselves, instead they remained faithful to the Lord.
In Matthew 24:29-31, Jesus clearly says that He will return after the tribulation. Later in Matthew 24 are verses that pre-tribulation rapture supporters point to as being the pre-tribulation rapture—the two grinding at the mill or in the field, and one is taken but the other left—but the context of those verses is in the time of the tribulation and of the second coming of Jesus, His only return before the wrath of God descends on the world.
There is simply no evidence in the Bible that Jesus is going to secretly return before his second coming to snatch His church away. I know it is a comforting thought for many Christians, the thought of “getting out of this deal” of unspeakable last days persecution, but Jesus does not tell us we will be spared being here for those days—those of us who are alive then, whenever “then” is.
Although it is a comforting thought, that we could escape the tribulation, I can see how that belief could leave Christians mentally and spiritually unprepared for the awful reality of those last days, since they do not expect to be here then. What a faith-shaking thing it might be!
However, this issue is not a make-or-break salvation issue. As Irvin Baxter, founder and president of End Time Ministries, points out:
The timing of the rapture seems to be the most controversial of all prophecy teachings. However, whether it will occur before, during, or after the tribulation has no bearing on your salvation. God can come for any one of us at any time. Jesus said in Matthew 24,
“Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.”

He only said what many clear-minded Americans likely think about our federal government’s dangerously stupid Middle Eastern visa and immigration policies, but boy did it get the leftist, Islamophile drones riled up!
Author, WorldNetDaily (WND) columnist and national conservative commentator, Erik Rush, posted a comment on Twitter in the wake of the Boston bombings, and it led to a small firestorm that became a tsunami after he posted a second, purely sarcastic comment that really tweaked the Left!
As WND’s Chelsea Schilling reported on Tuesday evening:
After the bombing Monday, Rush tweeted, “Everybody do the National Security Ankle Grabs! Let’s bring Saudis in without screening them! C’mon!”
Rush’s comment was in response to early reports from United Press International that a 20-year-old Saudi Arabian national had been a potential suspect in the double bombings. The Boston police later said the man wasn’t a suspect.
Rush told WND he received some hostile tweets following his initial speculation about the identity of the bomber.
“This was speculation, which everyone is doing,” Rush said. “That’s when the tweets started: ‘You’re blaming Muslims already? You scumbag!’
“After several of those, that’s when I was like, ‘Yeah, that’s right, they’re evil. Kill ‘em all.’
“And that’s all they needed.”
One of the drawbacks of the written word is that it can be difficult to impart sarcasm, because you cannot convey your tone of voice to go with what you write. Naturally, Mr. Rush’s quip sent the Left into a frenzy of foaming outrage. Not that it would matter to them that he was being sarcastic, but leftists either could not or would not grasp the sarcasm dripping from his statement, “Yes, they’re evil. Let’s kill them all.” In the context of what he had already written and the Left’s predictable reaction, I can easily detect his sarcasm, but that’s just me. He was clearly not literally calling for the killing of Muslims, but that did not matter to the screeching freaks of the Left.
After that second tweet, Mr. Rush was deluged with vicious, sick e-mails, comments on Twitter and his website, death threats, and hacks that crashed his website. His home was even “swatted” by someone who posed as him and called 911 saying that there were men in his home firing AK-47 rifles. Fortunately, the first officer on the scene was a friend of Mr. Rush’s, otherwise, that “swatting” incident could have been very bad news.
The leftist Right Wing Watch website had a brief report with the headline, “Erik Rush: Kill All Muslims in Response to Boston Marathon Attack.”
Sigh.
The Huffington Post called what Mr. Rush said a “Muslim joke.” Those tweets were not “Muslim jokes.” The first was clearly an expression of his frustration with our lax visa program which allows “visitors” from terror-sponsoring Muslim nations like Saudi Arabia, not to mention an open southern border through which Muslim terrorists can easily pass.
Neither was his second tweet a joke. It was a sarcastic response to the stupid outrage he was receiving from useful idiots who refuse to accept the fact that Muslims set off bombs and commit murderous attacks on a daily basis around the world. Because of their awful track record and history of hostile threats and attacks against America, it is reasonable to speculate that there is a good chance Muslims are behind the Boston bombings.
I don’t give a rip if that offends anyone. I’m sick of the suicidal, “politically correct” mentality that pervades our nation’s leftist media and governmental policies. I’m sick of hearing lies defending Islam. Islam has nothing to do with peace. It is a perverse, backward militant-political ideology that promotes interminable war against much of the world. Islam’s tenets, its Shariah mandates, are utterly incompatible with the freedoms and foundations of the United States. Islam is about oppression, not freedom.
I know the Left is desperately hoping the Boston bombers are white “right wing extremists” (whatever that means, since according to Homeland Security, I’m a right-wing extremist), but if the authorities nab a Muslim for this, we can bet that it will quickly be reported that he was a “lone wolf,” not affiliated with any larger Muslim terror group.
Returning to Erik Rush, Chelsea Schilling reported:
Rush said the local CBS affiliate covered the story and suggested he was trying to “defend” his tweet.
“I didn’t try to defend them,” he said. “They asked me, ‘If you had it to do over again, would you?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, probably.’”
Despite all the media hoopla, Rush said the incident opened his eyes to the real enemy.
“This really sort of sheds light on who we’re dealing with, and I don’t just mean the Islamists,” he said. “I mean the people who are really willing to stand up for people who want to kill us versus American people. Of course, the stuff that I’m getting is: ‘We’re coming to kill you!’
“Other than the practical concerns, like for safety, it furthers my resolve as far as who’s the dirt bag and who isn’t.”

I think we need to change our direction on taxes and spending here in Minnesota. In order to accomplish that end, I have an idea for a new tax bill that I would like to see get passed. My tax bill would be to add an 85% tax on Minnesota senators, house representatives and their staff’s salary and expense payments when any legislative session results in higher taxes and or spending. This would insure that these legislators would pay their fair share. Remember, its would be for the children, elderly, homeless, unemployed, disabled, veterans and the economically disadvantaged.
Now I know that there will be an argument against this proposal because it would dissuade the best and the brightest from running for office. Well that may be possible, but I would like to think it would dissuade those that want to spend and tax this state into bankruptcy. Perhaps we can’t afford the best and the brightest anymore and its time to get more of the average people involved in state government. Maybe the average person, as an elected official, would better serve us because they have been the ones negatively impacted by what all this tax and spending has brought to us. Perhaps they would instinctively know that the state trying to direct peoples’ personal lives is not the best idea around. Its possible that these folks understand that most people want to be left alone to make their own lives and can do so just fine without the help of state government.
Obviously, this is not going to happen as it would have to be passed by the current legislative body, and I doubt that they would give up their power over the citizens of Minnesota. They will willingly raise our taxes, but not theirs. With that being said, I guess this current legislature is not so much for the people, but more likely for them to hold power and to ensure that their career as politician is not threatened. I think it quite likely that this state would be much better served by average folks being elected to office with the intent of it being a temporary adventure in their lives to serve the people as opposed to those who would like it to become a lifelong career.
If you think that I’m suggesting this out of pure jest, you would only be partially correct. I, like most people I know, do not hold career politicians in particularly high regard. Actually, quite the opposite, as I’m certain that career politicians are very adept at knowing and acting on what is best for them in spite of what is best for the citizens they supposedly serve. If the opposite was true, there would not be many career politicians left in our state and federal legislatures.

Communist regimes always disarm the people. They must do this in order to crush the people under their evil schemes. And, they lie about it, about what they’re doing and why, but the end result is always the same—millions of disarmed dead people. If you think it can’t happen here, then you’re only fooling yourself.
If we have a God-given right to life and liberty, and we do, then it stands that we also have a God-given right to defend our lives and liberty against those who would try to take them from us. Our Founding Fathers knew this, and they also knew that the sinful nature of man includes a lust for power over others. They knew that without an armed citizenry, power-lusting men would eventually impose tyranny on the American people. We are now there.
By the time this column is published, the United States Senate may have already voted on cloture for the lawless gun control measures the Democrats have created and some Republicans have approved. I hope this is not the case. I hope the few conservatives in the Senate will filibuster this wicked gun control nonsense.
This is not about public safety! This is about control of the people, so that the communists who run our federal government can finally fully impose their anti-American, anti-freedom agenda on the American people! These liars, these lawless Democrats, and any despicable Republicans who go along with them, are not telling the truth about their intentions. They know darned well that their unconstitutional actions will do nothing to stop criminals from killing with guns. They are not seriously targeting criminals; otherwise Chicago and Detroit would not be the deadly, violent cesspools they are. These out-of-control politicians are targeting lawful American gun owners so that we will eventually be unable to defend ourselves against their tyranny!
Despite the many decades of extra-constitutional behavior by our federal government, it remains that the Constitution gives the federal government no authority whatsoever to infringe on our right to keep and bear arms. If there are nutcases among us who should not have guns, then they should be dealt with properly by their families and the states. Because there are homicidal maniacs among us in no way justifies working to disarm the rest of the people. This is utter insanity!
As retired attorney and constitutional scholar, Publius Huldah, wrote in her paper titled, “Gun Control, the Dick Act of 1902, Bills of Attainder & Ex Post Facto Laws”:
Of course we have the God-given right to keep and bear arms, to self-defense, etc… Our Declaration of Independence (2nd para) recognizes that our Rights come from God and are unalienable.
The 2nd Amendment to our federal Constitution recognizes that this God-given right to keep and bear arms is to be free from any interference WHATSOEVER from the federal government.
Our Framers were all for an armed American People – they understood that arms are our ultimate defense in the event the federal government oversteps its bounds. See, e.g., what James Madison, Father of Our Constitution, writes in the second half of Federalist Paper No. 46! The reason the Citizens – the Militia – are armed is to defend ourselves, our families, our neighborhoods, communities, and States from an overreaching, tyrannical federal government.
Accordingly, the federal government is nowhere in the Constitution granted authority to abridge, restrict, or infringe, in any fashion whatsoever, guns, ammunition, etc. Thus, ALL such restrictive laws made by Congress, and ALL regulations made by the Bureau of Alcohol, Firearms, and Tobacco (ATF), are unconstitutional as outside the scope of the powers granted to Congress and to the Executive Branch by our Constitution. Restriction of arms and ammunition is NOT one of the “enumerated powers” delegated to Congress or the Executive Branch.
Furthermore, all pretended regulations made by the ATF are also unconstitutional as in violation of Art. I, Sec. 1, U.S. Constitution, which vests ALL legislative powers granted by the Constitution in CONGRESS. Executive agencies have no lawful authority whatsoever to make rules or regulations of general application to The People!
The bottom line is that all gun control measures being pushed by Congress are illegal. If the Constitution is clear on anything, it’s clear on this, and the only remedy at this late point is a filibuster to stop the unconstitutional legislation from moving forward.
The despicable lies these politicians are using to sell their lawless gun control make me sick. The way these dirt bags parade parents and family members of little children killed by demon-possessed freaks who happen to use guns is reprehensible. That any of these parents would be deceived enough to believe that even more illegal gun laws would stop maniacs from killing with guns is pathetic.
Again, this is not about stopping gun violence! This is only about control of the American people by a communist regime hell-bent on squashing the unprecedented freedoms of this once-great nation.
There are people who have lived under murderous, communist regimes who know full-well where gun control leads. One such man, who fled communist Cuba, spoke before a gun control hearing in Salem, Oregon. Watching his brief testimony brought tears to my eyes and broke my heart. He had a chilling warning for the junior tyrants here in theUnited States:
Pointing at the lawmakers arguing for stricter gun control, [Manuel Martinez] said:
“I’ve been through it. I’ve been there. You people don’t know what freedom is because you never lost it! You haven’t been tortured. You haven’t been [sic] assassinations. You haven’t been — mothers begging for the life of their son not to be killed because the only reason they want is to be free. And they killed the mothers, and they killed the son.”
“If we keep tangling with the Second Amendment, we are open the same way that Cuba was open for Communism,” he said, noting that “China, Poland, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Venezuela, on and on” have fallen into the same trap.
“A dictatorial regime will destroy this country, in the same way that it destroyed those ones that I mentioned to you,” he asserted.
Martinez went further: “Gun control do not protect anybody. Don’t protect the citizens; don’t protect the people. The only reason for gun control is for the government to be protected from the citizens,” he said. “In that way the government can…manipulate the people and subjugate them.”
God bless his heart. I cannot imagine how distressing it must be for people like Mr. Martinez, who have lived under murderous, communist regimes and fled, only to see their adopted country walking in the very same footsteps as the hell holes they escaped. It makes me sick.
STOP IT, SENATE! Cease and desist your vile, “bipartisan” efforts, born in the pit of Hell, to pour tyranny on the United States! Step off our necks with your jackboots! Stand down to your proper places, you power-engorged, commie lunatics, and leave our guns alone!

It comes as no surprise to see the deep Scriptural ignorance in our world today. After all, many people have turned away from the solid foundation of truth found in God’s Word. Many people, even some who claim to be Christian, rarely even open a Bible, much less study one. But, when a man comes in the name of Jesus and goes on national radio and denies Jesus’ knowledge and teachings, it is a chilling thing to hear.
On Saturday afternoon, I heard a rerun segment of Sean Hannity’s nationally syndicated radio show on which he had two guests taking opposites sides of the marriage issue. The man who was asserting that homosexuals should be allowed to “marry” was “Reverend” Oliver White of the Grace Community United Church of Christ in St. Paul, Minnesota. Mr. White recently lost his church building and most of his congregation because he chose to support the radical homosexual movement’s war to redefine marriage.
Audio of portions of the exchanges between Hannity, CNS News’ Terry Jeffrey and Mr. White are posted on Breitbart’s Big Journalism website.
Mr. White made a boatload of outrageous statements, but one in particular stands out for its shocking claims about Jesus. After telling Mr. Jeffrey that he believes God endowed people of the same sex with the “right” to be married, Mr. Jeffrey then asked him if he disagrees with Jesus’ teachings about marriage being between a man and a woman, and Mr. White dropped this profoundly ignorant, blasphemous statement:
“I don’t disagree with Jesus Christ, but what I do say, that if Jesus were alive today, I think that he would be more inclined to say, ‘You know, I didn’t know it all.’ …I believe that the Jesus who also said ‘love your neighbor as yourself’ would not discriminate against a person on the basis of their sexual orientation.”
This is breathtaking. “If Jesus were alive today”? Did Mr. White miss the parts of the Bible that declare Jesus is very much alive and well today?
Did Mr. White miss the declaration that all things were made through Jesus? Does Mr. White foolishly believe that the God of all creation would say, “I didn’t know it all”?!
How did Mr. White miss the part of God’s Word—ALL of which is Jesus’ Word—where Jesus, who is God, says that he does not change his mind, that he is the same yesterday, today and forever?
Is Mr. White so truly ignorant as to think that Jesus is unaware of the state of America today, that Jesus did not see today’s America from before the dawn of time?
Does Mr. White really fool himself into believing that God’s Word (of which Jesus is the embodiment) that describes all manner of sexual sins, including homosexuality, would prescribe homosexuals—who define themselves by their sin—a “right” to “marry”?
As for whether or not Jesus would discriminate based on “sexual orientation,” is Mr. White unaware of the ultimate Day of Discrimination when Jesus will separate his sheep from Satan’s goats?
The fact is that God hates sin, and encouraging your neighbor in his sin is not loving him as yourself. God tells us to reprove the works of darkness, not give them a thumbs-up!
This man, Oliver White, is treading on very dangerous ground. He is declaring himself to be a teacher of God’s Word standing in the name of Jesus, but he is a devilish liar. As the Bible tells us in James 3, those who presume to be teachers will be held to a higher standard. Those who deceive and lead many astray, while posing as messengers of Christ, will receive greater condemnation.
I have no doubt that our nation is falling under the weight of its collective sins. America is reaping what it has sown, and false teachers like Mr. White are flourishing with their poisonous messages in this time of great apostasy and rampant Biblical illiteracy. Even though there is a gigantic amount of Scriptural ignorance out there, we should not leave such a glaring example as this one unchallenged. It’s not as though Mr. White is just some run-of-the-mill commentator; he presents himself as a Christian minister. That makes his slanderous words against the Lord much more egregious.
With our Supreme Court one breath away from lawlessly, senselessly and impossibly redefining marriage to accommodate those who define themselves by their sexual sin, it is as important as ever to boldly speak the truth to such gruesome lies as those spoken by “Reverend” Oliver White.

Well, isn’t this just swell?! The Washington Times reported on Monday that Saudi Arabian “religious authorities” have, in all their boundless benevolence, decreed that women may now ride bicycles! Of course, there are some “common-sense” restrictions. Women must be covered head-to-toe in a tarp, be accompanied by a male, not ride a bicycle for transportation(!)—only for “entertainment”—and only ride in areas that “are not populated by men,” purportedly to avoid “harassment.”
Isn’t Sharia grand? Isn’t Islam just the best thing to have ever befallen the human race? Well, no. In fact, Islam is a curse on the Earth, every bit as bad, if not worse, than any other Godless political ideology like communism. This is plain to see for those who actually have eyes to see and who are not wedded to an anti-American, anti-Christian, anti-freedom agenda.
We can look at stories like this out of the Middle Eastand shake our heads at the gut-wrenching tyranny Islam imposes on its pawn followers, and yet, right here in America, we are watching a creeping invasion of Islamism. We now have an administration in Washington that is infested with Muslim Brotherhood operatives at the highest levels, including policy development and advisory to Homeland Security. The Muslim Brotherhood is a sworn enemy of America that is committed to our destruction! This is treasonous!
Barack Obama (or whatever his name is) is not even subtle about his support for the cause of the Islamists. He has set the Middle Easton fire to ensure the dominance of the barbaric, retrograde Muslim Brotherhood. He has the blood of the Benghazi victims on his hands. He has stolen billions in American taxpayer dollars and American military weapons and equipment and given them to his friends in the Middle East, his friends who are no friends of America. At every turn, he has shown his evil contempt for our dear ally Israel.
How has Congress, which is supposed to oversee the spending of the United States, stood lamely by and allowed this funding of our enemies? Don’t answer that; I already know. We have no one, and I do mean NO ONE, who will, in any meaningful and potent way, oppose this criminal fraud in the White House or hold him accountable for his lawless actions. Whoever controls Obama, whoever his real bosses are, hold amazing power and have an irresistible “machine” in place that prevents any substantial opposition to him. We have had a near-bloodless, communist coup of our federal government aided by Hell’s detestable media.
And, the outrages continue.
In response to legislation re-introduced by Republican Rep. John Carter, whose district includes Fort Hood, Texas, demanding that the Army award Purple Hearts to the victims of the enemy combatant Muslim terrorist, Nidal Hasan, Obama’s Department of Defense released a statement rejecting it.
As reported on Saturday by Fox News:
Legislation that would award the injured from the 2009 Fort Hood shooting the Purple Heart would adversely affect the trial of Maj. Nidal Hasan by labeling the attack terrorism, according to a Defense Department document obtained by Fox News.
The document comes following calls from survivors and their families for the military honor, because they say Fort Hood was turned into a battlefield when Hasan opened fire during the November 2009 attack. Fox News is told that the DOD “position paper” is being circulated specifically in response to the proposed legislation.
The document reads in part:
“Passage of this legislation could directly and indirectly influence potential court-martial panel members, witnesses, or the chain of command, all of whom exercise a critical role under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). Defense counsel will argue that Major Hasan cannot receive a fair trial because a branch of government has indirectly declared that Major Hasan is a terrorist — that he is criminally culpable.”
Oh, you think?! Only Islamophile idiots would claim that a monster who shouts “Allahu Akbar!” while waging his murderous Muslim jihad against American troops is not a terrorist. Of course Nidal Hasan is a terrorist, and everyone of sound mind knows it! It is well-documented that this Koranimal, who had an abbreviation for “soldier of Allah” on his business cards, was in contact with Al Qaeda leader Anwar al-Awlaki before Obama “droned” him to death without due process. As you know, al-Awlaki was an American citizen.
It makes me wonder if al-Awlaki was taken out because he might have spilled some Nidal Hasan beans that would have blown the top off the “workplace violence” narrative that the Obama administration is sticking to with an inordinate fervor.
This is certainly Obama’s Department of Defense (DOD) opposing the rightful Purple Heart awards for the Fort Hoodvictims. Not only does Obama’s DOD oppose this now, but the administration has officially opposed awarding Purple Hearts to these victims (first proposed by Rep. Carter in 2009) since the same clause was added to a version of the 2012 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
Obama’s thoughts were made known in a memo put out by his “Executive Office of the President” through the Office of Management and Budget in May of last year. In the eight-page memo are numerous points of Obama’s contention with aspects of the NDAA, including the awarding of Purple Hearts to the Fort Hood and Little Rock military recruiting center victims. He also opposed protection of religious beliefs if they conflicted with the desire of homosexuals. Many of us have long warned that homosexual “rights” and our God-given rights cannot coexist. This is becoming clearer by the minute in the degenerate society ofAmerica.
The liar Barack Obama is in full destruction mode toward our nation. The evidence of this is overwhelming and mounting daily. He—along with the leftist members of Congress—is wrecking our economic system with unconscionable federal spending, borrowing and printing. He is “Cloward-Pivening” our welfare and food stamp rolls with able-bodied leeches. He is destroying our ability to produce energy and killing our coal industry. He is wrecking our health care system and private health insurance industry. He seeks to grab our guns. He treasonously refuses to enforce our borders and continues to flood our nation will illegal aliens. I could go on and on until I puke.
Unless something is done to stop Obama and the Democrats, and more than a few of the “Republicans,” we will not be able to repair the destruction of our nation. I’m sick of people on “our side” being too timid to tell it like it is.

On Monday, the Democrat Governor of Arkansas, Mike Beebe, vetoed the common-sense voter identification law passed by the Republicans in the State Legislature. On Wednesday, the State Senate voted to override his veto, but it remains to be seen if the House will do the same.
How predictable and tiresome these Democrats are! They loudly deny there is any problem of election fraud and then bend over backward to make sure election fraud is easier to commit. If there is no election and voter fraud occurring, then what’s the harm in requiring voter ID? Yes, we know the answer to that.
Gov. Beebe claims his “reasons” for the veto are that the law would cost the state too much (it wouldn’t) and that it would “disenfranchise” minorities (that is to say, Democrat election fraudsters). Those are the textbook talking points of lying Democrats, the only “excuses” they have for opposing voter ID laws. Never mind that these “disenfranchised” Democrat voters otherwise have no problem producing proper identification to sign up for taxpayer money handouts of food stamps, housing assistance, “Obama phones” and other welfare “bennies.”
In the rare case that you happen to not have valid identification in Arkansas, and you want to vote, the new law would allow you to get proper ID, paid for by the taxpayers of the state, so no moronic Democrat “civil rights” group can run around screeching, “poll tax!”
We don’t have a problem of people not having proper identification in this country, unless they’re an illegal alien or a dead guy, but we do have a problem with dead guys and illegal aliens voting. That’s why the Democrats hate voter ID laws. Voters having to prove their identity to cast ballots cuts deeply into the Democrats’ dead voter base.
If all the states suddenly came to their collective senses and declared that every American citizen must show a valid photo ID to vote, what would happen would be ironic. The Democrats always shriek and wail that having to prove you are who you say you are to vote would “cause people to stay away from the polls.” What they say is true, but not for the reason they imply. Ironically, the Democrat voter turnout would certainly drop, because there would be a massive number of dead voters, multiple-voting voters, and otherwise crooked people who would not be voting.
But, don’t worry; the electronic voting machine hackers would more than make up for the low Democrat turnout. Yes, that’s right! Now that there are so many computerized voting machines, there is the added issue of vote stealing by hacking. Obama’s Energy Department through Argonne Laboratory researchers, practically bragged that they could easily and undetectably remotely hack into most models of voting machines and change the results. Read this Salon.com report on the Chicago-area Argonne “research” into voting machine hacking for a glimpse into how easy electronic election fraud can be done. How wonderful it was that these Argonne guys did this “invaluable research” in the months leading up to the 2012 election!
And, we wonder how the unpopular Barack Obama (or whatever his name is) was “reelected” with all the lawlessness and scandals of his first term. His drop in voter approval was exhibited prior to the 2012 election by the lackluster turnouts and nearly-empty stadiums on his campaign stops. Do you remember how Mitt Romney had huge crowds everywhere he went? Yeah, me, too.
No, we don’t wonder, we are certain that Obama’s reelection was the result of massive election fraud. And, no, Romney did not challenge the results, but it remains that we have a criminal in the White House presiding over a lawless administration and a Democrat Party full of communist-socialist lunatics.
We are sick of this campaign of idiocy by the criminally-minded Democrats in power. It is ignorantly deceptive for them to claim there is no election and voter fraud and then fight like maniacs against voter ID laws. If there is a contest of any kind in this world, there will always be cheating; that’s just the nature of the fallen, sinful world in which we live. And when the contest is for political power and money, you can bet your bottom dollar that there will be a huge racket for cheating. Not all election and voter fraud is detected, but we see criminal election fraud cases with every election.
Now the Republicans in the House chamber of the Arkansas State Legislature must have the will to do the right thing, to follow the Senate, and override Gov. Beebe’s wicked veto. Of course, we know that the enemies of Americain the Obama “Justice” Department will quickly add Arkansas to the list of states being sued by our federal government for having the temerity to want honest, legal elections. But, knowing this evil administration will sue should never stop us from fighting for what’s right.

Yes, I know that FReepers and other jaded conservatives will quickly ask, “Who the heck cares what some young punk from the leftist Washington Post bird cage liner thinks about Sarah Palin?” And, of course, I know there are so many other vitally important stories assailing us every day, so much to address, besides what a little-known, boyish, nearly-fresh-out-of-Harvard liberalette thinks of former Alaska Governor and Vice-Presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
However, as I read the Washington Post opinion column by Alexandra Petri, it really hit home how desperate our situation is with the younger generations here in the United States and how illustrative this girl’s writings are of the deep, leftist indoctrination going on in our schools.
The only reason I have even heard of Alexandra Petri is because our local paper carries her column occasionally. The few times I have read her writings, I cringed at her lockstep leftist perspective on the issues and her ignorant disdain for conservatives and those who seek to preserve our nation as founded. From what I have read, her main weapon is empty sarcasm. I say “empty,” because sarcasm without a foundation in truth is a dumb weapon of baseless insult, whether the user of it realizes this or not.
In the case of Petri’s column about Sarah Palin, Petri resorts to the use of empty sarcasm to blast Gov. Palin’s announcement that she is going to be releasing a book about the war on Christmas.
She opens her piece by insulting Gov. Palin:
I understand that at this point commenting on anything Sarah Palin does is like socking a punching bag that has been slowly deflating since 2008, but she has just announced that she is coming out with a Christmas book, and I couldn’t help myself. Well, more specifically, a book about the War on Christmas.
… Titled “A Happy Holiday IS a Merry Christmas,” it seems destined to go the same route as most books with CAPITAL LETTERS in their TITLES for EMPHASIS.
… Christmas books are like Christmas albums: They are not things you make and announce in March when your career is going anywhere good.
Petri goes on to illustrate her ignorance, either willful or not, about the commonplace reality of atheist attacks on Christmas symbols and displays in the “public square,” Christmas events in publics schools and the simple presence of Christmas in our nation as a celebration of the birth of Jesus. Perhaps Petri truly is unaware of the numerous threats and lawsuits brought by atheists who are determined to do away with any Christian display of Christmas in public. However, a quick Internet search of “atheist sues Christmas display,” or variations of that search, will more than give the clueless a clue.
But, no, Petri apparently does not care to acknowledge the very real war on Christmas—which is fundamentally a war against the God of creation and His followers—that has been raging for many years now in our nation and even longer in the rest of the world. Instead, she uses that empty sarcasm to mock the very idea:
The War on Christmas is like alien spacecraft and true love — it is one of those things that seems [sic] to be visible only to people who already believe in it. The rest of us are baffled. Who are these people who think there’s a war on Christmas and Christmas isn’t winning?
Yes, all these anti-Christian lawsuits brought by individuals and groups like the Freedom from Religion Foundation are just figments of our overactive imaginations, very much like UFO sightings. Sure thing, kiddo. This girl is simply employing the Left’s usual tactic of denying the reality of reality, in the same way they deny there is a homosexual agenda or a group of communist tools running our federal government and more than a few of the states. And, of course, they are ever mocking those who tell the truth, because that is their only weapon, since they cannot refute the truth with reasoned debate.

The name of Jesus does tend to send liberals into spasms of derision toward those who speak his name, and this is really what the Left’s inordinate hatred for Sarah Palin is all about. Gov. Palin claims the name of Jesus, and that offends the godless, Marxist left down to the core of its rotten soul. And, Alexandra Petri is no different than the rest of the cookie-cutter, junior Marxists our “fine” universities turn out today.
But, this is a deeper issue than the communist invasion of our society that has been underway for most of the last century. This is a testament to the truth of God’s Word. The Lord tells us that people who reject Him are subject to deep delusion, wherein they believe lies—huge lies. God literally turns them over to an ever-darkening mind and spirit, because they refuse to turn to Him for salvation and forgiveness of their sins, along with true knowledge and wisdom. These people believe themselves to be wise, when in truth, they are fools who are desperately bad off and unaware of their terrible state.
People like Alexandra Petri are pitiable, and the sad, scary thing is that our schools are turning out so many like her—kids who believe the lies of the Marxist Left, lies which lead to tyranny, although they do not understand this; they cannot see it testified repeatedly throughout history. And of course, the godlessness of Marxism (or socialism or communism, if you prefer) can lead those who cling to it to the ultimate self-imposed tyranny of eternal separation from God, and that’s the scariest thing of all.
